About Robyn Reese

Robyn Reese, CNM, APRN, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife bringing over 25 years of nursing experience to Suncoast Women’s Care. Robyn provides a full range of primary health services for women from adolescence thru menopause and includes the following services: primary care, gynecology and family planning, genetic counselling and testing, preconceptual care, care during pregnancy and childbirth, and post partum care (including circumcisions). Robyn has delivered more than 3,500 babies in the Tampa Bay area and is dedicated to empowering women to achieve their desired birth experience. Robyn actively involves her patients and their families throughout pregnancy and supports women in both medicated and nonmedicated births. Robyn is passionate about building relationships with her colleagues so that collaboratively they can provide education, support, and empowerment to her patients.

Robyn originally is from New York but has made Tampa Bay her home since 1984. She received her Batchelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida in 1993 and went on to work as a critical care nurse and a labor and delivery nurse before going on to further her education. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Florida in 2002. Robyn is board certified by the American College of Nurse Midwifery. Robyn has a passion for educating the future nurse practitioner/nurse midwifery students as well as medical students. She has precepted over 100 students in her career and became published for the first time in 2019 with the following publication: “The Importance of Risk-Reducing Prophylactic Mastectomy in Breast Cancer (BRCA) Carriers: A Case Report. (Cureus 11(8), e5311.
