Wanda Torres, MD, FACOG, is a gynecologist specializing in women’s reproductive health, obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery at Suncoast Women's Care. She brings over 20 years of experience to patients in the community of Trinity, Florida and the greater Tampa Bay area.

Dr. Torres established Suncoast Women’s Care in 2002 as a practice run by women for women. Her mission is to improve the well-being of her patients by providing gentle, high-quality obstetric and gynecologic services including prenatal care, well-woman exams, cancer screenings, family planning, vaginal atrophy treatments, and a range of urologic/gynecologic minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Torres received her medical degree from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Medicine in San Juan. Her affiliations include Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida, where she was formerly a specialty director.

A respected educator, Dr. Torres serves as an associate faculty member in the nurse practitioner program at the University of South Florida College of Nursing in Tampa. In addition, she sits on the advisory board of the Rasmussen College School of Nursing in New Port Richey, Florida. Dr. Torres also enjoys teaching 3rd and 4th year medical students from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Torres is board-certified in her specialty by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

When not working, Dr. Torres enjoys taking peaceful long walks and bike riding. She has 3 fur babies – rescue dogs that are well spoiled. Most all she enjoys the time and company of her friends and family.
